I’m using a CF sub tube-style mod to power up and this mini version of the Subtank series definitely fits better and more streamlined on my battery. Same excellent build quality and I love the organic wick. There is all this talk about high voltage vaping batteries possibly causing more harm than good, generating cancer-causing chemicals, but those studies were seriously flawed and the researchers were using low-quality juice, tanks and coils. Stay on the safe side and stick with a KangerTech product like this which is built for high voltage and has no glue, is all-stainless and has a pure organic wick so that no carcinogens are produced. That’s why I’m a loyal Kanger buyer. The organic cotton gives them a real competitive advantage in my opinion. I vape with 100% GMO-free VG too just to be a clean as possible.

Hey everyone, it’s Jen here! Just wanted to say that this has quickly become our most popular sub-ohm tank, now outselling the original. The new Subtank Mini holds 4.5 ml juice (so it’s not exactly small!) but more importantly, it has the updated peek insulator (which was an issue discovered in the 6.0 ml version, and made popular by Phil Busardo). Kanger has actually stopped shipping the older, bigger Subtank and now is working on its Version 2 which is expected to be available in March. In the meantime, the Mini Subtank has become the more popular choice in Canada, and because of its smaller diameter, fits more flush with most mod batteries – which people seem to prefer. So, if you were thinking of getting the 6.0 ml, we are recommending this 4.5 ml (mini version) until Kangertech finally comes out with the V2 of their orignal.
